We have Permits!

It has been a little while since I last wrote and we have two major items to report. First of all, we have running water and a toilet! Yeah! Zanna doesn’t have to use the honey bucket anymore. Our only problem is that we don’t have walls around that bathroom, but anyhow these are just semantics. Atlas our plumbers have finished the ruff in and are drains are filled to the roof on test to insure the entire system is sealed tight. We are ready for both the mechanical and plumbing inspections but until today we did not have any permits! I have been drawing like mad for the last few days and today we went down to the city building. I have filed for permits while working with Works Partnership Architects but I have never done the process completely from start to finish. I am happy to say that my drawings were review and accepted and that we now have building permits for our renovation! See my drawings below.
