Today we found a window !

Old houses have lots of surprises. Today we found a window! Last night we were looking at a picture of the outside of the house and both of us looked at each other and said, “where is that window?” The kitchen is one of our major projects in the house. We plan on taking out a wall to enlarge the kitchen with the existing pantry/sun room. On the North elevation we saw there were three windows in the sunroom but inside we only had noticed two. Sure enough they had paneled over the window! Why? We are not so sure but check it out. Here are some pictures of our demolition progress. Vinyl siding on its way down, acoustical panels are dropping, plastic laminate floors are up exposing the hard woods and we’re opening up the basement ceilings to exposed the plumbing and electrical. Lots of work, but lots of fun too.
